General Service Assistant - Newquay

Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our General Services Team at Newquay Community Hospital and work with an exceptional team of General Service staff who have been recognised for the excellent standards of cleanliness and housekeeping.

Newquay Community Hospital is a busy community hospital with a variety of services including a MIU department, out-patient department, Xray and two wards and two side rooms - 20 beds.

Main duties of the job

These roles will include a wide range of tasks, from serving meals and drinks, kitchen food prep and washing dishes, general and infection control cleaning.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, motivated and dedicated to providing the very best environment for our patients. We also require flexibility as the successful post holder will be required to work in different areas of the hospital.

In the summer, and during other holidays lots of people choose to visit the area. This increase the numbers of people who use out services.
