Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Psychologist to join our Adult ADHD service in the beautiful county of Cornwall.

This is an exciting time for Adult ADHD, as we are expanding our existing service. We are looking for an individual who is strongly motivated to work in this area, with a keen interest in neurodevelopmental disorders to provide excellent care to people that use our service.

We are looking for someone who has experience working in mental health settings, and are able to assist in clinically related administration, conduct of audits, collection of data, and development of audit and/or research projects, teaching and project work.

The Team are based in The Clays Practice Roche St Austell ,but as this is a county wide service, it is not expected to be at base everyday and some remote working is possible.

This post is a Permanent, full time position however we would also consider offering this role on a 12 month Fixed Term or a Secondment basis. We would also consider part time hours.

Main duties of the job

This post will assist in the development and delivery of psycho educational groups within the Adult ADHD services, and provide psychological assessment and psychological interventions under the supervision of a qualified professional Practitioner Psychologist to adults with ADHD across the county of Cornwall.

Essential

  • Psychology Degree accredited by the British Psychological Society
  • Previous Experience working as an assistant psychologist
