Job summary

The Information Lead - Internal will provide profession expertise in the development of business intelligence tools in relation to internal information requirements and assist the wider team to develop technical solutions for reporting requirements, including automation of reports, processes, and the use of data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Qlikview etc.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will focus on a variety of datasets including others from the health and care system. Technically the role will involve the use of analytical tools such as SQL, Exel, Tableau, PowerBi etc, along with the manipulation and linking of datasets.

  • Significant experience of extracting & analysing complex and sensitive data to support the monitoring requirements to meet NHS targets.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a complex problem-solving environment. Ability to find answers that aren't always immediately obvious.
  • Specialist knowledge and understanding of NHS data definitions, NHS information requirements, clinical terminology and coding systems. Ability to work as part of a team and to supervise, motivate, develop and encourage other members

  • Microsoft Excel, SQL/Tableau/Power BI - Detailed knowledge of various statistical software packages databases and spread sheets, with the knowledge and experience to undertake complex data management and manipulation
