Main duties of the job
We are looking for a team psychologist who will act as a strong clinical leader, working collaboratively with the team manager and other senior clinicians to ensure that the clinical team is fully supported to work with service users with complex mental health care needs. As an independent practitioner with your own team caseload, you will be part of a dedicated professional group providing psychological assessment, intervention, supervision and staff support within our community-based services.
We will recognise & value your clinical expertise, post-qualification training and specialist knowledge. We will enable you to use your clinical skills and listen carefully to your ideas for developing our community mental health services. We are dedicated to building a compassionate workplace where respect and care for service users and staff is at the heart of everything we do.
We have a vacancy in Kerrier ICMHT, based in Redruth, which is made up of highly motivated and supportive professionals focused on offering an outstanding therapeutic service. Our aim is to ensure service users feel empowered to progress their recovery and advance towards independently managing their own mental wellbeing.
