Here at Cornwall Partnership Foundation NHS Trust we are excited to offer brand new opportunities for people who are new to care to join an 8 week paid developmental programme to train as a Healthcare Assistant in our Adult Mental Health Wards. Successful applicants will be remunerated on the band 2 pay scale during training and after completion of the relevant competencies and assessments will move to a band 3 permanent position with a full time salary of £22,816 per annum rising to £24,336 after 2 years.

Main duties of the job

To Support the delivery of care and support needs by carrying out assigned tasks involving direct care under the supervision of a registered nurse.To contribute to the evaluation of programmes of care by reporting to the clinical supervisor.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide high quality mental health care to the service users to promote recovery in a manner that maintains safety for all.
