What We Are Looking For-
- Experience in financial analytics, ability to analyse complex information for processing and explaining to an audience of both finance and non-finance staff.
- AAT level 4 qualification, studying towards CCAB accounting qualifications.
- Highly developed and specialist knowledge of health service financial management.
- Ability to switch between tasks and prepare information with minimal notice.
- To communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff, both verbally and in writing, including production of reports.

Main duties of the job
- This role will provide support to Finance Manager Planning and Analytics in providing high quality financial analysis to Senior Leadership and Financial Management Team in the Finance Department.
- Support Financial Management in providing a comprehensive financial analysis service to the Trust.
- Play a key role in the co-ordination of the Trust's annual financial plan model preparation.
- Play a key role in the co-ordination of the Trust's annual budget setting preparation. This will include the delivery of relevant and accurate financial information to support the Trust in planning budgets and forecast the year-end outturn to support decision making.
- To play a key role in the co-ordination of the Trust's forecast in year and underlying position assessment.
- To develop financial information to ensure the finance team produces information which informs decision making to improve patient care and inform decisions to improve service delivery.
- Process and analyse financial information in accordance with Trust procedures to provide information for statutory returns and monthly finance reports.
- To support the development of financial reporting information within the Trust.
- To report on the developing income and expenditure trends to enable the Finance Team to support- services to stay within the financial envelope and understand the impact of service decisions on income and expenditure levels.
- To ensure financial information needs of stakeholders are met.
