CFT currently has an Assistant Management Accountant vacancy within their Finance team, which is open to anyone currently working at this level or seeking to develop into this role with a personalised development plan. This plan will enable you to develop an array of skills within a Financial Management team working in partnership with clinical services.
There are two job descriptions and person specifications attached to this advertisement. Depending on recruitment outcomes you will be offered either an Assistant Management Accountant Band 5 post or an Assistant Management Accountant Developmental Band 4-5 post. Upon completion of a development plan within the following 12 months you will move into an Assistant Management Accountant Band 5 post.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience in a financial environment
- AAT Level 3 qualified
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Proactive and able to work to deadlines

Main duties of the job
The Role
The post advertised is a developmental role where you will be supported by experienced NHS Finance colleagues to build knowledge and skills around all areas of financial management and the NHS healthcare system. You will have the opportunity to:
- Prepare monthly finance reports
- Communicate with various stakeholders
- Manipulate, analyse and interpret data
- Complete a personalised development plan if required
