We at the Cornwall Foundation Trust are looking for motivated and enthusiastic General Service's Assistant's to join our Flexi team, we can offer work in our Community Hospitals or Mental Health Inpatient Wards across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

As a GSA you are an integral part of the team and tasked with various duties including deep cleaning and housekeeping, food preparation and delivery. You will be working within a team but the ability to work alone is beneficial.

We have GSA roles available in all areas across the County and offer flexible working hours soyou can pick and choose your shifts as they become available.

Main duties of the job

The purpose of the post is:To provide a complete level of ancillary service to the Clinical Unit/Ward Manager. This is a key post, vital to maintaining the Organisation's hygiene and control of infections

  • Good basic level of ability in Maths and English

  • NVQ Level 2 equivalent qualification/experience
  • Experience of working in a care setting
