Job summary

Are you looking to develop your skills as a High Intensity CBT Therapist? We'd love you to join our team if you would like to work with children and young people. Whether you are qualified or about to qualify , we are looking for someone who is passionate about Hi Intensity CBT.

You'll be qualified as a HI Intensity CBT or willing to train as a CBT supervisor which will be fully funded. You'll be offering one to one evidence based CBT interventions and groups sessions, and working alongside other CAMHS clinicians, other statutory and voluntary agencies.

You'll have access to everything you need to work both in a clinic setting and remotely at home as and when. There's lot of opportunity for further professional development and CPD. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop skills, excellent supervision will be provided too.

This role is based in Penzance, the post holder will need to be enthusiastic, well organised and able to travel across the area, as well as being expected to be an excellent communicator and team player and you'll also be part of a wider network of psychological therapists.

This is a full-time post working 37.5 hours per week.

Main duties of the job

To provide effective, efficient and highly specialist HI CBT assessment and treatment for children and young people and where appropriate, to work with parents and carers.

To provide highly specialist advice and consultation regarding formulations and treatment to colleagues and external agencies as required.

To take full or part responsibility for supervision of trainee therapists

To contribute to the CPD training of other Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust professionals

To provide supervision to clinicians with Partnership Services for Children, Young People and Families.
