Acute GP Service - Acute GP Vacancies
An exciting opportunity has arisen for registered GP's to join our AGP Team. You will be part of an established, supportive primary care team, providing medical cover for delivery of a safe, efficient, and reliable clinical service.
Main duties of the job
The post holders will be based at Camborne Redruth Community Hospital, but there will be opportunities to work from RCH Treliske & Bodmin Hospitals providing clinical sessions within the Acute GP Service. They will triage all requests from GPs and other multi-disciplinary teams for medical admission, across both acute & community hospitals.

The post holder will work as part of an established, supportive primary care team. They will have access to appraisal, teaching and training and will be encouraged to pursue professional development.The post holder will provide medical cover for the delivery of a safe, efficient and reliable clinical service. They will form links and develop relationships with secondary care and Urgent Treatment Centre, andPrimary Care Centre colleagues and those working in the wider healthcare community. The post holder will ensure patients receive optimal care in the correct setting within the healthcare system. Health policies and standard operating procedures will be adhered to and, if relevant, refined.
