Job summary

We are looking for a highly motivated, well organised, enthusiastic individual to work flexibly as Band 4, Nursing Associates on Gwynne Holford Ward at the Queen Mary's Hospital Site. The ward is a busy 36 bedded Amputee and Neuro- rehabilitation unit. The post is required to work flexibly to cover a seven-day service for the ward and within the neuroscience directorate.

Nursing Associates are expected to provide high-quality care, assist with clinical tasks, and contribute to patient well-being, all while working under the guidance and supervision of senior staff, including registered nurses.

You will need to be flexible with your work pattern to cover annual leave and sickness so that the service can continue to run efficiently.

You will be expected to have excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Main duties of the job

Band 4 Nursing Associates are expected to provide high-quality care, assist with clinical tasks, and contribute to patient well-being, all while working under the guidance and supervision of senior staff, including registered nurses.
