Main duties of the job
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Band 6 Clinical Research Nurse to support the delivery of clinical trials in our busy Clinical Research Facility. This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is keen to develop their research skills in a supportive and forward-thinking team. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will play a key role in the identification, recruitment, and follow-up of patients into ethically approved research studies. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality research, working closely with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and ethical study conduct in line with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and Trust policies.
Applications are invited for a full-time clinical research nurse, in the Clinical Research Unit based in the Emergency Department at St George's. The Clinical Research Unit is a based in a busy ED with 10-15 open studies at any one time. This role is part of an expanding and dynamic research team.
