We are looking for a Nursing Associate with a willingness to learn, that thrives under pressure and has the ability to adapt and refine their skills according to the demands of the unit.

We are a 19 Bedded Surgical Ward based on the 5th Floor of St Georges hospital. St Georges cares for an assortment of specialities - Neuro-surgical, General Surgery, Gastro, Respiratory, Spinal, Ear-Nose & Throat, Urology, Trauma and Orthopaedics. These specialist patients, in an excellent teaching hospital will enhance your skills and your scope of practice.

Main duties of the job

St Georges cares for an assortment of specialities - Neuro-surgical, General Surgery, Ear-Nose & Throat, Urology, Trauma and Orthopaedics.

Main duties are:

  • To provide excellent nursing care for our Paediatric inpatients.
  • To ensure the smooth running of the service and continuous flow patients.
  • Provide excellent nursing care, supervise and act as an advocate for child and family and participate and contribute to themanagement of wards.
  • To Safeguard Children and their families.
  • To work as a team across Paediatrics.
