Junior Clinical Fellows IN VASCULAR SURGERY
6 month fixed Term Contract
An exciting opportunity have arisen for a Junior Clinical Fellow in Vascular Surgery at St George's Vascular Institute, St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The post holders will have nominated roles as part of the weekly rota mainly covering wards duties and pre op assessment clinics.
The successful applicants will be a team players, but also able to work individually. They will be a confident and clear communicators possessing excellent IT data management and verbal reasoning skills. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals who can demonstrate excellent attention to detail, accuracy, experience in prioritising workloads and support the present provision of vascular surgical services to the populations of South-West London and surrounding areas as key members of our dynamic clinical team. The post holders will contribute to the Vascular/ Urology/ General Surgery on call rota.

Main duties of the job
The Vascular Surgery team at St George's Hospital wishes to appoint 2 Junior Clinical Fellow level trust doctors to join the surgical team. The posts would provide an ideal professional development platform from which the appointee may develop a portfolio of experience, although the post is not part of a formal training programme. The main responsibilities of the post are to care for the patients admitted to the wards for elective or emergency surgery. On-call category 1B 40%, post holders to participate in the Urology/ General Surgery and Vascular Surgery on call rota

The appointee will be expected to competent at the senior house officer level in all aspects of general, urology and vascular surgery.
