Job summary
We are looking for a Day Unit Receptionist to work at The Nelson's Health Centre on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays (22.5 hours per week).
Main duties of the job
The Day Unit teams at St George's Hospital are looking for a flexible, approachable, reliable and motivated team player to work as a part time receptionist between the units. The post will involve supporting our full time receptionists and schedulers.
Our busy day units provides diagnostic procedures to patients within the Trust.
This role is patient facing . You will need to be able to work well under pressure and cope with conflicting demands. Ideally you will have previous experience of working in an outpatient or day unit environment. You will possess excellent organisational, communication and IT skills. We mainly use iCLIP (Cerner) and Medilogic IT systems. Knowledge of these systems would be an advantage but is not necessary as full training will be provided.
