We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and engaging General Manager to join us in leading our Outpatient Services Directorate at St George's as part of the Children's, Women's, Diagnostics, Therapies, Outpatients, Pharmacy and Critical Care (CWDT) Division.

Main duties of the job

The General Manager is a key member of the Directorate triumvirate teams, responsible for the effective strategic and operational management of a defined set of Care Groups, and will work closely with the Clinical Director, Head of Nursing and Deputy General Manager to ensure the delivery of high quality patient services within the resources available. The post-holder is responsible for the management of all non-clinical staff in the Directorate, ensuring staff are managed in line with the Trust's employment policies.

  • Experience of providing services to a high quality with restricted resources
