Job summary
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic dietitian (to cover a maternity leave position for 9 months 30 hours a week) with approx start date Feb 2025 to lead our Heart Failure and Cardiology Dietetic service plus provide leadership for the other 3 Chronic diseases teams (Bariatrics, Diabetes & Renal) based at St George's Hospital in Tooting, London. The team consists of 7.56wte B7, 1.0wte B6 and 1.0wte B5. You should be self-motivated, enthusiastic and dynamic with excellent team-working, communication and organisational skills. The successful applicant will be well supported by the Consultant Dietitian & Professional Lead for Dietetics and Principal Dietetic team.

The wider dietetic department at St George's NHS Foundation trust consists of over 70 dietitians, who provide clinical inpatient and outpatient services to a variety of specialties including Oncology, Renal, Neurology, Haematology, Paediatrics, Cardiology, GI services, Surgical, Diabetes, Infectious Diseases and Community Services. The department is committed to training dietetic students and actively participates in the training programs of clinical and non-clinical staff. There are numerous opportunities for professional and personal development. The team have a wide variety of extended skills including, indirect calorimetry, CORTRAK NJ tube insertion and enteral tube care.
