Job summary

To provide excellent individualised and unsupervised nursing care. To utilise and further develop advanced clinical specialist skills in order to provide the highest standard of individualised patient care.

Main duties of the job

St George's Neonatal Unit is a perinatal medical and surgical referral centre, covering the South West London sector and beyond. The unit has a capacity of 40 cots, 12 of which are intensive care, 12 high dependency and 16 special care. The service has a large workforce of 200 staff with nursing roles ranging from Neonatal Assistants to Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners.Following recent internal promotions, exciting opportunities are now available for prospective Band 6 nurses to join our thriving team. You will need a minimum of 6 months experience post completion of an accredited neonatal course. In return we can offer you a wide breadth of experience as you progress your neonatal career.

There will also be an opportunity for you to visit the ward and meet with the department!
