Job summary

The South West London Procurement Partnership came together on 1stApril 2021 as a new single procurement service acting directly on behalf of; Croydon Health Services NHS Trust, Epsom & St. Helier NHS Trust., Kingston Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and St. George's NHS Foundation Trust whilst also providing services to the wider South West London integrated care system. The new service is hosted by St. George's NHS Foundation Trust.

The purpose of the new service is to deliver better outcomes for partners through delivery at scale benefits for patients, staff and the wider health economy. The creation of the South West London Procurement Partnership is a critical foundation in developing the common infrastructure that will enable the wider place-based and system-level transformation in patient care which is at the heart of all 4 Trusts' strategic aims; and support increased financial sustainability.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the service and to play a crucial role in realising our objectives.

We are looking to recruit a Catalogue Manager to work in the Data & BI Team.

The successful candidate will be required to Increase, manage and maintain e-Catalogues for goods and services to optimise automation in the procurement process and within this, keep up to date supplier and product information.

Main duties of the job

  • Increase and maintain e-Catalogue coverage of purchase order transactions.
  • Maintain and actively use systems for collecting, evaluating and interpreting large volumes of intricate data on Service expenditure and supply markets.
  • Validate and maintain Service eProcurement catalogues
  • Assist the Head of Data, Business Intelligence & systems to maintain and develop department communication programmes that includes internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the continuous development of the integrated strategy for the Service suite of procurement systems including eProcurement, eTendering, eContract Management and eVendor Management.
