Job summary
- Providing excellent nursing care.
- Develop cardiac skills and competencies, taking charge of the unit and actively participate in and contributing to the management of the ward or department on a regular basis. Supervising and mentoring students and junior staff.

- We have a vacancy for a Full Time Staff Nurse (Band 5).
- You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team on this Nurse Led Unit working closely with Catheter Labs and Nurse Practitioners.

Main duties of the job
- You will be working in rotation between day case unit James Hope Ward and elective overnight Charles Pumphrey Unit that run five (5) days cardiology procedure service.
- James Hope Ward has 3 bays of 3 trolleys that operates from 07:30 to 19:30 Monday to Friday.
- Charles Pumphrey Unit consists of 7 beds for overnight stay elective patients and is open from Monday 7:30 to Saturday 15:00.
- Both are challenging and fast paced unit working to meet the increasing demands on St. Georges Cardiology service as a regional tertiary center delivering high quality care.
