Job summary
A great opportunity has arisen for a Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Therapies Nurse to join our dynamic MS Service. Working as a member of the MS team the post holder will provide an expert nursing service managing specialist intravenous, injectable and oral therapies for patients with MS. They will also support the MS Clinical Nurse Specialists in delivering high quality care to patients with MS. A keen interest in MS supported by experience of working with patients with MS or other neurological conditions is desirable. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Main duties of the job
To provide and effectively deliver expert nursing service managing specialist intravenous, injectable and oral therapies for patient with multiple sclerosis (MS).
To manage a caseload of patients receiving MS therapies
To ensure that patients and their families are fully informed of the therapies and supported by providing clinical and social support
To support the MS Clinical Nurse Specialists in providing a high quality of care to patient with MS
To assist in the development of evidence based clinical nursing practice in line with current research and guidelines
