Job summary

As Integration Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting a range of collaborative projects across St George's and Epsom St Helier. These projects could be in clinical and/or corporate areas, focused on improving outcomes for our patients and value for taxpayers.

Main duties of the job

  • Be responsible for the day to day planning and delivery of their particular projects.

  • Establish and agree SMART (specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time bound) objectives with their team(s) and the Workstream/Programme Lead in order to ensure first time, on time delivery of projects.

  • Work in partnership with appropriate management, clinical staff and others to ensure support and engagement for their project(s) and embed the transformation work within the day-to-day work of the Trust.

  • Use influencing and facilitation skills to inspire staff allocated to their projects to approach things differently e.g. deliver services differently, adopt different business processes, and establish different relationships with external

  • Provide positive leadership to become a 'champion' of integration across the Group, encouraging a change of culture in an organisation which has recently had to deal with financial turnaround.

  • Manage all project risks and issues

  • Develop performance indicators to ensure integration opportunities are effected.

  • Take responsibility for developing a robust project management framework, including the preparation of project plan, key outcomes, deliverables and timescales.

  • Ensure appropriate data collection systems are in place to facilitate the analysis, interpretation and presentation of information relevant to the project - completing progress reports as required.
