Reporting to the Lead for Divisional Governance, the successful post holder willsupport the delivery of the divisional risk, quality and safety agenda ensuring divisional compliance with regulatory body standards and outcomes.
You will bebe directly responsible for a portfolio of services and work withkey clinical and non-clinical staff to maintain the profile of governance/risk, ensuring that related strategies are aligned with the culture of the Trust.
You will workclosely with the corporate teams ensuring the analysis and presentation of governance/risk management information and trend data to support action and learning andcoordinate divisional responses to external bodies e.g. NICE/FOI/alerts and the submission of evidence as required for accreditation purposes.

Main duties of the job
- To support the delivery of the divisional risk, quality and safety agenda ensuring divisional compliance with CQC outcomes
- To be responsible for the assessment of clinical and non-clinical risk within the division, including Adverse Incidents, Serious Incident, GP Quality Alerts and Complaints
- To ensure there is an integrated approach to all aspects of risk management, with robust systems to support this
- To liaise with key clinical and non-clinical staff to maintain the profile of governance/risk, ensuring that related strategies are embedded within the culture of the division
- To work closely with the corporate teams ensuring the analysis and presentation of governance/risk management information and trend data to support action and learning
- To coordinate divisional responses to external bodies e.g. NICE/FOI/alerts and the submission of evidence as required for accreditation purposes
