Main duties of the job
Registration Authority Agent - Band 4Full-time, 37.5 hrs per week
We are looking for an experienced Registration Authority Agent for the Trust who will have the responsibility of examining and validating the identity of people applying for registration. You will provide Smart Card and Registration services to clinicians, managers and staff across all areas of the Trust.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
- Previous experience of working in an RA Role
- An educational qualification at Advanced or higher Vocational level or equivalent experience
- A qualification or relevant experience giving evidence of competence in the use of PCs, printers and software e.g. European Computer Driving License
Desirable
- ITIL Foundation v4
- Driving License
- Oracle Cerner Millenium Fundamentals Qualification
KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Comprehensive understanding of the National RA guidelines and responsibilities
- Excellent working knowledge of complex applications (e.g. such as Patient Administration and Clinical systems), preferably gained in a complex health care environment
- Customer service experience
- Experience of the ability to work to strict security and access controls and adherence to Data Protection Act and security requirements similar to NHS Caldicott
- Experience of IT Clinical Applications or equivalent experience of supporting IT Applications in a large, complex organisation
- Experience of delivering results to third parties

- Ability to analyse problems and find solutions
- Able to prioritise workloads and resource them in response to changing demands and requirements
