Consultant Radiologist with interest in Head and Neck Imaging

Applicants are invited for a substantive Consultant Radiologist post, with an interest in Head and Neck (H&N) radiology.

Main duties of the job

The post is full time, with up to 5 sessions commitment to H&N radiology at Croydon University Hospital (CUH). CUH is a large London DGH with close ties to St Georges Hospital which acts as the tertiary referral centre. The post holder would help the trust meet Faster Diagnostic Standards for H&N services by reporting cross sectional imaging, doing FNA clinics and supporting local as well as regional MDT meetings. An illustrative job plan of 10 programmed activities is available in the job description. There will be 8.5 Direct Clinical care sessions and 1.5 SPA. There is a 1 in 14 diagnostic on-call commitment, with overnight cover provided by a tele-radiology service. The job plan may be adapted by agreement, with the possibility of part-time working.

Applicants must be on the Specialist Register, or be within 6 months of the anticipated award of CCST, at the time of interview for the post
