Job summary
The post will be based in the dedicated Dermatology department at Croydon University Hospital within Croydon Health Services and other work locations including off site working may be agreed in your Job Plan where appropriate.
The successful candidate will be undertaking general dermatology / USC and skin surgery clinics with an interest in tele dermatology.

5 consultants with specialities including paediatric dermatology, Mohs surgery, complex surgery, vulval, photodermatology
1 plastic surgeon once weekly clinic and lists
2 Speciality doctor
1 Trust grade Registrar
1 Prescribing pharmacist for systemic and isotretinoin
1 Advanced Nurse practitioner
Nurse led clinics including patch test, phototherapy, teledermatology, biopsy lists
MacMillan skin cancer nurse
Close working with the maxillofacial team
Strong links with local hospitals in the south west London network and teaching opportunities at St George's medical school and in house medical student rotations.

The remit of the post holder will be to work within the multi disciplinary team providing and further developing care of dermatology patients, and to provide and develop dermatology services to Croydon Health Services patients. In addition, the individual will be required to play an active role in the general workload of the department while having a significant commitment to teaching and training of junior staff.
It is envisaged that the appointee will contribute to the development and delivery of inpatient, outpatient and emergency work (ward / A&E referrals).
