Job summary
The post holder will work as an integral part of the Trauma and Orthopedic They will be based in the Plaster room within the fracture clinic, and will carry out plaster and bracing treatments to help provide a safe, professional and efficient service for a high level of patient care. The successful candidate will be a skilled Plaster Technician either having already completed the Stanmore British Orthopedic Association (BOA) Plaster Technician Course and Examination or be working towards the certificate.
Main duties of the job
The Trauma & Orthopaedic Department is looking to recruit a Plaster Technician.
You should have excellent knowledge of managing complex fractures and outstanding communications skills.
We are looking for someone who is a team player, friendly, professional and willing to provide additional cover to support the service.
