Job summary

This post is for a Specialty Doctor in Dermatology. We wish to appoint a full time Specialty Doctor in Dermatology to commence as soon as possible.

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Specialty Doctor to join a dynamic, rapidly expanding team delivering multidisciplinary acute care in Croydon University Hospital.

The successful candidate will be joining an enthusiastic, forward-thinking department compromising of 5 Consultants, GP Specialists, Pharmacy Prescriber. The appointment will be an essential member of the team.

The department offers excellent training and development opportunities and the post holder is expected to support the service demands.

Main duties of the job

The post will be based at Croydon Health Services and other work locations including off site working may be agreed in your Job Plan where appropriate.

Please note that job plans are subject to review by your Clinical Head of Service and Clinical Director.

  • Experience of dealing with dermatology cases in general practice Evidence of participation in audit
  • Good time management & organisational skills, ability to prioritise, according to clinical need.
  • IT skills
  • Understanding of NHS & Clinical Governace
  • Knowledge and Understanding of cancer pathways
  • Experience in MOPS

  • Experience of working in Dermatology clinics under supervision
  • Member of Special Interest Groups
  • Experience of presentations
