We are seeking an exceptional payroll administrator who motivates others and consistently delivers the best service at all times, who understands the importance of ensuring accuracy and data protection in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
You will be instrumental in supporting the setting up and maintainance of a brand new payroll service for the Temporary Staffing Team within Croydon Health Services NHS Trust.
You will need to be highly efficient at organising your workload, prioritising appropriately, setting and managing clear expectations. You will have proven experience in a payroll or finance environment that will support you in delivering this new service and ensuring our Temporary Staffing workers are paid accurately and on time.

Main duties of the job
You will support the Payroll Liaison Team and the wider Trust in the delivery of a high-quality Payroll Liaison service, including supporting the Temporary Staffing Team, and payroll service via NHS Shared Business Services (SBS) our payroll provider.
You will support SBS and the Liaison Team with the delivery of payroll processing including recording and processing statutory and contractual data such as starters and leavers. You will assist employees and SBS with enquiries and inputting into the Electronic Staff Record (ESR)system.
You will be able to work to strict deadlines and be flexible and able to adapt to change. You will be sharply focused on outstanding customer service, delivering efficiently and with a spirit of continuous improvement.
You will be able to use your own initiative and knowledge of payroll procedures and rules to assist in delivering an effective and efficient liaison service.
