Job summary
The post holder will be a key player within the Digital Training team managing, planning and facilitating the delivery of high quality formal and informal digital training on various business critical digital applications including the Trust's Electronic Patient Record systems (currently Cerner & EMIS). The post holder will provide training to all levels of staff across the organisation to ensure they are confident and competent in the use of our digital systems.
The postholder will support the Digital Training Manager to manage a team of Digital Trainers and a Digital Learning Developer ensuring that annual objectives are set in line with the Trust's Digital Strategy. The postholder will play a key role in ensuring that training materials are developed, maintained and updated to reflect system configuration and design, and made available to staff through the Trust's eLearning platform.
The role will also include, but not be limited to, creation of lesson plans for training, supportive documentation for business as usual and new systems, testing the training environment, administration of learning management systems, training content, on-site engagement with users, supporting development of eLearning, supporting the training administrator with course bookings, answering emails, and other general training admin tasks within the Digital Training team as directed by the Digital Training Manager.

The role will also include, but not be limited to, creation of lesson plans for training, supportive documentation for Business as Usual and New Business systems, testing the training environment, administration of learning management systems, training content, on-site engagement with users, supporting development of eLearning, supporting the training administrator with course bookings, answering emails, and other general training admin tasks within the Digital Training team as directed by the Digital Training Manager.
You will be expected to be flexible in your working hours and may occasionally be required to work outside core hours where user requirements or projects so require.
