Job summary
Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust (LGT) are offering sponsorship for qualified Nurses and Midwives to complete the SCPHN qualification at level 7, to become a School Nurse . The post is fully funded by NHSE, and successful candidates will be paid AFC Band 6 (Annex 21). Candidate are required to be NMC registrants, have a Level 6 qualification at 2:1 or above, be able to demonstrate study at level 7 in the previous 2 years and be able to commence the programme in September 2024at Kings College London University.

At LGT, SCPHN's lead on the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme, provision of Universal Services and Targeted interventions to those children and families with the greatest need.
We are invested in the development of Public Health Nursing, and this is underpinned by our Public Health Nursing strategy and training programme for all roles within the PHN teams.

Interview Structure: Shortlisted candidates will participate in a two-part interview process:

Group Discussion - Candidates will engage in a conversation on an unseen topic or question.

Individual Interview - A panel interview where candidates will deliver a short 5-minute presentation at the beginning. Further details will be provided upon shortlisting.
