Main duties of the job
The post will involve assessment and clinical care of patients who either self-refer or are referred in via other routes e.g. General Practice to Integrated Sexual Health clinics. There are no on-call commitments and there will be an expectation to do one evening clinic a week till 7pm.
The department is actively involved in audit, research and innovation and is currently in a Twinning Partnership with a hospital in Rwanda supported by VSO. The post holder will be expected to be involved and will be supported to undertake audit, research and quality improvement projects. Clinical Fellows are eligible for study leave with a supporting budget to accommodate CPD.

Essential
- MBBS or equivalent
- Full GMC registration
- Completed FY2/ equivalent
Desirable
Clinical Experience
Essential
- The applicant must be familiar with and be able to demonstrate an understanding and experience of the major principles of the GMC's Good Medical Practice (2012)
- Completion of FY2 competency or equivalent experience or at least 2 years post qualification experience
- Competent to work without direct supervision where appropriate
- Experience of working in the NHS for at least 12 months
