Job summary
The post holder will assist the Principal Pharmacy Technician Homecare, in the co-ordination of the workload for Homecare and will ensure that the administrative duties relating to Homecare purchasing and invoicing are carried out in accordance with departmental policies and procedures and drug trial protocols.

Job responsibilities
- To process orders, in association with Homecare Delivery Companies prescriptions for home delivery
- To ensure continuity of supply/discontinuation of supply of medication to patients by accurately maintaining appropriate recording system
- To report on and follow up Homecare service problems to the appropriate people
- To maintain appropriate filing systems for homecare prescriptions, invoices and other records
- To process Homecare invoices according to Pharmacy SOPs to make sure billing flows are picked up correctly for commissioners billing
- To maintain strict confidentiality of all patients
- To delete all outstanding orders no longer required on a monthly basis
