Job summary

Work under the direction of the Head of Business Performance, and in close partnership with the NoE CPC Marketing Team, to develop, own and deliver a comprehensive, insight-led marketing strategy for NHS LPP that is fully aligned with NoE CPC, organisational objectives, values and long-term priorities.

Act as the senior strategic marketing advisor to the NHS LPP Executive Team and Steering Board, providing expert counsel on brand positioning, audience segmentation, market trends, stakeholder engagement and reputational risk.

Lead the design and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns, structured programmes and targeted ad hoc activity, ensuring measurable impact in terms of engagement, adoption, reputation and organisational growth.

Provide strategic oversight of brand management, safeguarding and evolving the NHS LPP brand to ensure consistency, credibility and accessibility across all channels, platforms and stakeholder touchpoints.

Shape and communicate a clear and compelling value proposition that positions NHS LPP as a clinically led, progressive, innovative and trusted procurement partner, with a clear ambition to achieve world-class standards and deliver tangible benefits for patients and the wider health system.

Oversee and assure brand development and marketing alignment for new services, commercial propositions, partnerships and digital initiatives, ensuring consistency with organisational strategy and audience needs.

Main duties of the job

The Senior Marketing Lead will lead, shape and deliver a comprehensive Marketing strategy that supports NHS LPP`s strategic objectives.

The role will also promote NHS LPP`s vision and values, enhance our reputation, and strengthen engagement with staff, stakeholders and the wider community. The postholder will provide expert leadership on internal and external marketing, media management, digital channels, and campaigns, ensuring consistent, transparent, and effective Marketing across the organisation.

This role plays a vital part in implementing the NHS LPP vision & strategy, and in delivering the aspiration of the Board to become a world-class procurement partner of choice for the NHS and the wider public sector.

This is a challenging, fast-paced and influential role that will contribute to the standing, profile, and activity of the organisation.

The postholder will play a pivotal, high-profile role in NHS LPP, developing and leading the marketing strategy, to optimise the business activity of NHS LPP with existing members, the NHS as a whole, and the wider public sector, to expand our client base and market share.

About us

Please note that as an organisation NHS LPP has been hosted by Guy's & St Thomas' (GSTT) NHS Foundation Trust since 2012 and provides the legal framework and supporting services under which NHS LPP operates. However, NHS LPP is a membership organisation funded and governed by its members and not GSTT. NHS LPP staff are employed by GSTT.

NHS LPP develops and manages collaborative procurement projects on behalf of its members including acute, community and mental health trusts, as well as CCGs. NHS LPP has a number of members outside of London. This role requires the postholder to manage collaborative procurement within the normal NHS membership but also working with other public sector bodies, advising and managing their procurement processes to deliver benefit to the wider public sector.

The organisation will continue to develop as a centre of commercial excellence that delivers significant and sustainable cost and service improvements to all stakeholders primarily in the London NHS economy but also outside London.
