Job summary
Would you like to join an ambitious procurement organisation supporting our Category Work streams and our customer team with the development and implementation of their future strategies and targets for the benefit of our members? This role requires you to lead sourcing strategies across multiple work streams, contribute to the development of Category Strategies and provide expert advice both internally and externally to our customers on the most appropriate compliant route to market.
Main duties of the job
Support and develop Tender activity via the Atamis portal as directed by the Procurement Assistant Director, working with NHS LPP Members and internal Category Teams. Maintain overall understanding of NHS LPP Member spend using a variety of data sources including benchmarking and supplier management information, to establish a detailed knowledge of Member expenditure by Supplier & Commodity. Identify saving opportunities from spend and supplier management information and dialogue with NHS LPP Members as agreed with the Procurement Associate Director.

Please note that as an organisation NHS LPP has been hosted by Guy's & St Thomas' (GSTT) NHS Foundation Trust since 2012 and provides the legal framework and supporting services under which NHS LPP operates. However, NHS LPP is a membership organisation funded and governed by its members and not GSTT. NHS LPP staff are employed by GSTT
NHS LPP develops and manages collaborative procurement projects on behalf of its members including acute, community and mental health trusts, as well as CCGs. NHS LPP has a number of members outside of London. This role requires the postholder to manage collaborative procurement within the normal NHS membership but also working with other public sector bodies, advising and managing their procurement processes to deliver benefit to the wider public sector. The organisation will continue to develop as a centre of commercial excellence that delivers significant and sustainable cost and service improvements to all stakeholders primarily in the London NHS economy but also outside London.

Ensure ongoing supplier compliance with DPS terms and liaise with NHS LPP members, providing regular up to date supplier lists and answering related queries.
