SCF in Lymphoma with a Special Interest in CAR-T Radiotherapy

Job summary

This post is designed to provide sub-specialty training in Lymphoma and other haematological malignancies radiotherapy and would suit a doctor with 7 complete years of postgraduate training (equivalent if overseas) or post-CCT seeking further exposure to complex radiotherapy techniques as well as advanced clinical oncology training prior to becoming a consultant clinical oncologist.

Main duties of the job

The postholder will work within an established lymphoma radiotherapy team in Guy's and St Thomas' and interacting with the haematology team in the Trust as well as southeast London Network. They will gain experience in all aspects of lymphoma management including systemic therapy and advanced radiotherapy techniques such as deep inspiration breath-hold for mediastinal and upper abdominal cases, and butterfly VMAT for mediastinal cases. Lymphoma RT provides a wide-ranging experience of radiotherapy planning covering all anatomical sites of the body and different radiotherapy regimes. This also includes cranio-spinal and total body irradiation.
