Job summary
The Evelina London Cleft and Paediatric Plastic Surgery services would like to invite applications for the post of Senior Clinical Fellow. The post is based within Guys & St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust (which includes St Thomas' hospital, Guy's Hospital and Evelina London Children's Hospital), and will be offered on a 12-month fixed term contract.
The successful candidate must be able to participate in a full range of activities including clinics (both in outreach centres and at the St Thomas' hub) and surgery. They will play a significant role in the management of patient pathways, including assisting with surgeries and clinics. There will be training opportunities in all aspects of patients' care. This is an excellent opportunity to join first-class teams in an active and progressive central London teaching hospital environment.

About us
The Evelina London Cleft Service (previously known as the South Thames Cleft Service) provides highly specialised care to all patients with a cleft lip and/or palate in the South Thames region - South London, Kent, Surrey and Sussex. The service is currently delivered through outpatient and inpatient sites at Guys and St Thomas' Hospitals (and Evelina London Children's Hospital on the St Thomas' site) and out-reach clinics throughout the region. The service follows the entire patient care pathway, from before the birth of the child through to twenty years old and to adults returning for further care.
The Paediatric Plastic Surgery department covers the wide spectrum of sub-specialities within paediatric plastic surgery ranging from facial palsy, Microtia/Atresia, congenital upper/limb, chest wall and vascular anomalies while also being a busy paediatric trauma centre for the South East. The department is currently involved in many exciting initiatives and we are looking for an individual with appropriate clinical and people skills to complement our enthusiastic, outgoing and welcoming team and help keep the service in the forefront of clinical and academic excellence.
