Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Evelina London Dietetics team as an specialist Paediatric Allergy Dietitian. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic Dietitian to this role. You will work in Paediatric Allergy Dietetics team along with 8 other allergy dietitians, 1 dietetic assistant/psychology assistant and dedicated admin. You will delivery evidence based holistic dietetic assessment and advice to patients and their families/carers attending the paediatric allergy service. This role is predominantly outpatient based covering dietetic specific clinics (general and specialist), MDT clinics and our inpatient allergy day case unit. There is lots of opportunity to develop and we support continuous professional development within the dietetics team, at MDT level and via Allergy Academy and Allergy in Practice course which we facilitate. You would be join an Allergy Centre of excellence one of only 5 in the world and be part of a forward thinking team actively translating and implementing the latest research into patient care.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will provide dietetic care to all patients referred for nutritional assessment, advice and support within the Paediatric Allergy outpatient and day case service.

About us

The Paediatric Nutrition and Dietetic Department comprises a team of over 40 Paediatric Dietitians and Dietetic Assistants covering areas such as Metabolic, Renal, Respiratory, Allergy, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Feeding Clinics, Ketogenic, Cardiology, Nutrition Support, Neonates, PICU, HIV and Diabetes. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shadow other specialist areas, attend and lead CPD both in the acute/allergy teams and wider dietetics and be involved in training Dietetic students.

There are numerous opportunities within the department for audit and service development and you will be supported and encouraged to actively participate in these areas.
