One post is a maternity cover post for one year, starting May 2025. The second post is for 6 months, starting September 2025. We have a strong track record in supporting trainee through a number of posts and subsequent successful entry into the national training programmes.
Main duties of the job
Applications are invited for a Junior Clinical Fellow post in Paediatric Cardiology at the Evelina London Children's Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to gain paediatric experience at a world class paediatric hospital with a wealth of training and education opportunities available to successful applicants. Whilst these are not accredited training posts, they attract the same training opportunities, including study leave, a named educational supervisor and a very active educational program.

Qualifications/Education
Essential
- Medical degree - MBBS or equivalent
- Completed Foundation competencies or equivalent
- GMC Registration.
Desirable
- MRCPCH part 1 Level 3 Child protection training
- Newborn life support training
- APLS or equivalent resuscitation certification

- Understanding of the principles and applications of clinical research
Knowledge and Skills

- Evidence of experience in clinical procedures relevant to post

- Undertaken quality improvement work or service development
- Evidence of contribution to effective clinical audit and clinical risk management
