Senior Clinical Fellow in Dermatology (Skin Tumour)
Starting Salary - £61,825.00 per annum excl LZ
Full Time - 40 hours per week
Fixed Term - 12 months only (commencing August 2025)
Main duties of the job
This post has been created to offer bespoke specialist training in Dermato-Oncology diagnosis and management. The post is designed to offer experience managing patients with complex/advanced melanoma and Lymphoma skin cancer. It will also allow successful candidates to maintain exposure to general dermatology, general skin lesion clinics, have a dedicated biopsy list and the opportunity to be involved in research. You will be part of a large, consultant-led multi-disciplinary team.This post is aimed at candidates seeking further experience managing patients with skin cancer - both simple and complex. Although there is a weekly surgical list to maintain and develop your surgical skills, it is not a surgical fellowship.

To receive subspecialty training and further development in Dermato oncology
To deliver clinical and other service activities in order to provide a high standard of care for patients with Skin Cancer
To contribute to clinical research activities of St. Johns Institute of Dermatology
The postholder will, together with colleagues, contribute to the provision of dermatology and cutaneous oncology services to the Guys and St. Thomas Hospital Trust as follows:
To be an active member of the multidisciplinary skin tumour team delivering care to patients with skin cancer as part of the extensive tertiary referral service
Outpatient clinics (melanoma, lymphoma, Graft versus host disease, skin cancer screening and general dermatology)
To contribute to the required medical support for patient requiring complex therapies (including photopheresis and chemotherapy)
To provide continuing clinical responsibility for the patients in your charge
