Job summary
Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust R&D Department are recruiting for an interim R&D Contracts Manager to work within the non-commercial research contracts team at Guy's Hospital, on a fixed-term basis (14 months in the first instance). This is an exciting opportunity for candidates with research contracts experience who wants to step into a management role within a supportive team.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will be responsible for non-commercial research contracts for specific directorates within the trust, working in a team of R&D contract managers, and senior contract associates. They will be responsible for the contracts for a portfolio of studies, and will be the key point of contact for all non-commercial contracts for their allocated clinical directorates and their investigators. In particular, they will be responsible for the negotiation, management, and execution of agreements that are sponsored and hosted by our trust, including our drug trials, device studies, and interventional/observational studies.
Agreements will includefunding agreements, service level agreements, collaborative and consortium agreements for both national and international studies, material transfer agreements and other associated technical agreements.
About us
This a full-time job but we will consider 0.8 WTE or 4 days per week for the right candidate. There is a requirement to work in the R&D office at Guy's hospital, London Bridge 3 days per week. Other flexible working arrangements are available under our policy but we cannot office a remote working role.
