Job summary
The Department of Orthopaedics is seeking a (10 PA) locum consultant to join a dynamic, enthusiastic and forward thinking team. This is a locum position, to support growth in demand for shoulder and elbow surgery in our department.
The Orthopaedic Department is currently involved in many exciting initiatives and is looking for an individual with appropriate skills to complement this team, and help keep the service in the forefront of clinical and academic excellence.
The Department offers a wide range of service to patients. The post holder will undertake outpatient and inpatient sessions on a flexible basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a first class team in an active and progressive central London teaching hospital environment.
Main duties of the job
Job Summary:
To provide an orthopaedic and trauma service in conjunction with colleagues with a specialist interest in shoulder and elbow trauma. The appointee will have a specialist expertise in elective Shoulder and elbow surgery both arthoscopic shoulder and elbow surgery and arthroplasty of both the shoulder and elbow. To participate in clinical and other service activities with the object of ensuring a high standard of patient care To take an active part in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training To contribute to the management of the clinical service and service development The appointee will have a specialist expertise in shoulder and elbow surgery.About us
