x2 Junior Clinical Fellow in Perioperative Medicine for Older People undergoing Surgery

Nodal Point - 3 - £49,909.00 p.a excl. of LZ (pro rata)

Full Time - 40 hours per week

Fixed Term - 12 months

Main duties of the job

The post will be based at the either Guy's Hospital or St Thomas' Hospital depending on the specialty allocated. However, it is a requirement of your employment that you be prepared to work at any additional or different location owned or served by the trust, either on an on-going or temporary basis according to the demands of the service.

Education / Qualifications

Essential

  • Full GMC Registration and hold a licence to practise

Desirable

  • Other relevant postgraduate qualifications or equivalent

Clinical Experience

Essential

  • Comprehensive clinical experience in relevant placements
  • Exposure to acute conditions
  • Completion of FY1 and FY2 role/level/competencies or equivalent

Desirable

  • Experience working in the NHS or similar health care system

Knowledge and Skills

Essential

  • Ability to work as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong organisational skill
  • Knowledge of patient safety.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good time keeping skills.
  • A team based approach to care and service management.
