The Delivery Manager - Patient Experience Improvement Coach at the Centre for Innovation, Transformation and Improvement (CITI) is responsible for providing project management, improvement, and transformation coaching support to a portfolio of small to medium-scale Charity-funded improvement projects aimed at enhancing non-clinical patient experience. This role involves supporting between 7 and 10 project teams with planning, day-to-day delivery, and performance management, ensuring that risks and issues are mitigated and progress is made effectively.
The post holder will promote and utilize recognized methodologies and tools, work with key stakeholders across the Trust and beyond, and ensure cross-learning between projects. They will also be responsible for reporting on the progress, impact, and health of the project portfolio.
Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities include active project coaching and delivery support, regular meetings with project leads/teams, preparing for and facilitating governance meetings, and ensuring effective management of interdependencies and delivery of objectives.

- Working with clinicians and managers to ensure the best possible patient experience and service delivery.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to manage interdependencies and deliver objectives.

- Holding regular meetings with project leads/teams to maintain momentum.
- Preparing for and facilitating governance meetings and sessions with the GST-Charity.

The Delivery team is part of the Centre for Innovation, Transformation, and Improvement (CITI). CITI was founded in 2021 under the Deputy Chief Executive (DCE). The DCE is the Executive Director responsible for leading and implementing the Trust's strategy for innovation and improvement, which aims to develop an ecosystem that encourages the acceleration of new knowledge and capabilities and learn from best practices globally, to deliver improvements in patient care, research and education at scale. CITI co-locates multi-faceted teams to provide the focal point for clinical innovators and services seeking to translate ideas or early stage products or improvements into clinical practice.
