Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Palliative Care service at Guys & St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust.
Applications are invited for an 10 PA Locum Consultant post in Palliative Medicine. The successful applicant will join a dynamic, enthusiastic and highly supportive multi-professional team. The post-holder will embody our Trust values helping to support the delivery of high quality clinical care and to provide leadership across our service which spans hospital, outpatient and community settings.
The Palliative Care service at Guy's and St Thomas' has a strong record of high quality clinical care, service innovation and quality improvement. We work closely with colleagues in our King's Health Partners' Palliative Care Clinical Academic Group. The post-holder will have the opportunity to engage with our portfolio of education and research with many opportunities to work with colleagues across the organisation.
You must be fully registered with the GMC/GDC and hold License to Practice and be on the Specialist Register, or within six months of attaining your CCT or equivalent at interview stage.
About us
The post-holder will have regular contact with vulnerable adults and/or children (0-18 years) and therefore this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
