Job summary

Are you an enthusiastic individual who would like to be part of an outstanding nursery team. Do you have the skills and knowledge alongside the guidance of the management team to support the running of the different age rooms within the nursery setting, from 5 months to 5 years of age.

Main duties of the job

To develop and support the staff with in your allocated age room.
To plan age appropriate activities for children aged 5 months to 5 years using the EYFS guidance
To support the management team with tasks delegated.
In the absence of the management team, to step up and take on the additional responsibilities.
To be a named safeguarding lead in the absence of the manager

To promote positive parent partnership with all parents and carers
To implement all operational policies and procedures within the Day Nursery
To plan for children's individual needs, and document where appropriate
To work within a team on a daily bases, supporting each other with daily tasks
To respond immediately to any safeguarding concerns and report these concerns in accordance with the nursery policy and procedure.
To be aware of all children's Health and Safety in the nursery and share relevant information with the management team.
