Job summary
Are you an enthusiastic individual who would like to be part of an outstanding Nursery Team?
Do you have the skills and knowledge to work as part of a team to support the development and delivery of the Early Years Foundation stage to children between the age of 5 months to 5 years in a Nursery Setting?
Main duties of the job
- To work as a team in your allocated age room.
- To plan age appropriate activities for children aged 5 months to 5 years using the EYFS guidance.
- To be a key worker to a group of children.
- To keep up to date development records on your key group.
- To have a sound knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding.
- To provide and develop a flexible service of the highest quality of care and education.
- To promote positive parent partnership with all parents and carers.
- To implement all operational policies and procedures within the Day Nursery.
- To plan for children's individual needs, and document where appropriate.
- To work within a team on a daily basis, supporting each other with daily tasks.
- To respond immediately to any safeguarding concerns and report these concerns in accordance with the nursery policy and procedure.
- To be aware of all children's Health and Safety in the nursery and share relevant information with the management team.
