An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Assistant Service Manager within the Emergency Department.
The successful candidate must be proactive in their approach, with good problem solving abilities and flexible, can do approach to resolve issues within the Emergency Floor.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic and innovative individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across a multi-professional team and be able to adapt to an evolving service in order to ensure the continuous delivery of high quality patient care.
Main duties of the job
This role will support the Service Manager to deliver operational targets, monitor performance, and directly line manage a team of administrators. The successful candidate will have excellent data and staff management along with analytical skills .
The Successful applicant must be able to lead and motivate teams with a high degree of self-motivation, have an experience of people management and a keen attention to detail. The post holder must be IT literate and have the ability to navigate trust IT systems.
The individual should be adaptable, have excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. The ability to multi task and use initiative in a busy environment is essential.
