Job summary
The role is for the technical support of the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals network infrastructure
The Network technician is responsible for all on-site network related activities, as well as liaising with the external suppliers of networks infrastructure
The post holder will work closely with Project managers, onsite Clinical Engineering teams, as well as the End User technology department to support all network requests and maintenance.
Main duties of the job
The job is to provide Network Support to the Royal Brampton and Harefield hospitals. The role will cover both IT project work, as well as staff support and ticket resolution.
The post holder will be required to liaise with the third party support for internal structure cabling, and third line network support.
The post holder will be responsible for all aspects of on-site network activities, with support of remote 3rd line network support.
The post holder will have a good understanding of:
