Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to undertake a full-time clinical fellowship within the Respiratory Medicine service at Guy's & St Thomas' NHS Trust. The successful applicant will be at ST3 level or above and join an internationally recognised, research-active multi-disciplinary team of clinicians caring for patients with varied Respiratory conditions. The Respiratory service at GSTT includes a number of specialist services including Severe Asthma, Interstitial Lung Disease, Lung Cancer, Pleural Disease, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, and Tuberculosis.
Applicants should hold MRCP and have completed Internal Medicine Training (IMT) or equivalent.
Main duties of the job
The fellowship will offer a balance of clinical training in the management of patients with Respiratory diseases including outpatient clinics, alongside ward work on the Respiratory and acute medical wards, including GIM on calls.

The Directorate of Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care and Sleep based at Guy's and St Thomas' (forming part of the GSTT Heart Lung and Critical Care Clinical Group) is committed to delivering excellent patient care whilst meeting the Government targets for A&E waiting times, cancer and 18 weeks.
The Directorate team consists of Prof Nicholas Hart, Deputy Medical Director Heart Lung Critical Care Clinical Group, Dr Nicholas Barrett, Clinical Director, Mr Stuart Bell, General Manager, and Heather Winterbridge, Head of Nursing. They are supported by a team of Matrons and Service Managers who lead on the day to day delivery of the various services.
The directorate provides a comprehensive service for inpatient and outpatient settings from a body of 27 consultants andalso contribute to the care of general medical and high-dependency patients.
